WoW Hunter Leveling Guide: Basics
Before we talk about your WoW hunter Leveling Guide, lets clarify some basics:
The Hunter (Hunter): Description
Azeroth welcomes a wide range of animals. Since the new world of Lordaeron to the old world of Kalimdor, all types of creatures can be found. Some are friendly, others are rather fierce and aggressive. By cons, they all have something in common. Each creature shares a special connection with the Hunter. The stalking hunter, tame and kills all kinds of animals and beasts. They rely on bows or guns, Hunters consider their weapons and their pets as their only true allies.
Hunters are very effective when it comes to the monsters puller as it may set traps. Hunters are also able to use various skills relating to animals, taking some cattle traits in their account to do things they would not be able to do normally. They can use a variety of ranged attacks and have few skills in close combat. Finally, they are able to control and tame beasts.
Hunters are intimately linked to their pets and must keep in mind that they are obliged to maintain a good mood. In using a pet, the hunter will see an icon in the upper left of the screen, it indicates the level of statisfaction pet. Plus the Hunter uses his familiar, the higher the level of satisfaction of these decreases. The player must arrange to keep a reasonable level so that the pet does not leave … or at worst not attack! Hunters are also the only class capable of giving a name to his creatures.

Master the skills of Animals (Beast Mastery)
Found in this category aspects. These are buffs in connection with animals that allow the hunter to receive special bonuses from his animal friends. You can only use one aspect at a time, much like the seals (seals) of the paladin. There are also many other interesting abilities, such as caring for his pets.
Survival skills (Survival)
These skills are found mainly traps and direct attack spells. The traps work very well in combination with ranged weapons. Overdo it! Some other skills are also much funs as Disengage you will find some info a little higher on the page.
Accuracy skills (Marksmanship)
As its name suggests, it’s ability to use remote. All injections (Stings), DoT type attacks, are here. The different levels of Concussive Shot are also very interesting to stun the opponent, whether to start a fight or to flee in case of trouble.
The familiar
You tame your first pet at level 10 by doing a search for your coach. After some tame animals, you will get different skills that will help you manage your new companions. These happen to be extremely important for the Hunter, do not see this quest for later and do it as quickly as possible.
When an animal is tamed, an icon in the upper left corner of the screen indicates the level of happiness. The more you use your pet, the less happy. If you feed it (with food raw or cooked), it will effectively put in a good mood. Note in passing that you can use the skill Knowledge of Beasts (Beast Lore) to know in advance the type of food your pet prefers. This is very important because it will be more happy, it will inflict more damage. Conversely, the less will be fed, the more it will be low. If neglected too, it can even give you and attack you.
Each animal tamable has attributes that are popres. There are animals that have more hit points (like bears), others are more resistant due to higher armor (like turtles and scorpions) or others who do more damage (as the raptors, cats or spiders). It’s a bit up to you what is the animal that suits you most.
Animals can also learn different skills. Some of them have already when you tame, but it will take most of the time to teach them. There are nobmreuses skills: Claw, Bite, Dash, Dive, Cower, Prowl, Screech, Scorpid Poison, Growl, and Furious Howl (although not all animals can not learn all the skills). I invite you to go see the Hunter forums to learn more about it.
To teach a skill, you need your taming skill (Beast Training). Your pet must have more training points it acquires in leveling up and improving their level of loyalty. He must know that an animal has a degree of loyalty to you (six levels in total). The higher the level of loyalty, the lower the animal requires food. To improve the loyalty of a pet, you just … well you take care Understand and there need to feed it regularly and massaging from time to time
The Hunter can also learn some skills in animals. To do this, he must tame and fight with him while making him use the skill. Note in passing that the pets may have a different size after being tamed. This is quite normal. The developers selected in order to avoid confusion during the battle group due to the large size of some animals.
When an animal level up, it becomes more efficient and has better armor, more hit points, etc.. It is therefore an overall improvement of the animal. Please understand that it can not be higher level than you.
Also know you can fit your companions in a stable. These are often located near Inns and Mailboxes. You can buy more seats to accommodate more animals, but this will cost money. But hey, if you want to change an animal without losing, that’s what you should do. The barn has 3 slots. The first location is the anilmal active and the other two animals that are at rest.
Conclude with the experience gained by pets. This is equivalent to that obtained by the hunter without his possible experience bonus of rest (resting) or group.
Combat tactics
Hunters are never as powerful as when fighting from a distance. You should always find a minimum distance of your enemy. This then forces you to revolve around it during a fight. When using a ranged weapon, you can not go below a certain distance, otherwise the weapon will not want to run. If this happens, the hunter must retreat in order to use his gun again. If the monster starts to attack you, there are nevertheless several methods to repel:
Start the fight by asking your pet to rush on the enemy and wait a bit before attacking yourself. Once the monster develops a certain hatred for your creature, engage the fight. If the monster is attacking you then use the skill Provoke your pet.
Head on over to the enemy by attacking with Loss of Wings (Wing Clip) and then cross the Cheetah Aspect (Aspect of the Cheetah). Start running to take some distance and then stop to attack. You can also launch Concussive Arrow to slow the enemy.
You can also use Disengagement (Disengage) when this skill will be accessible. If the monster is attacking you instead of attacking your pet, use Disengage to divert his attention to your creature.

Group play
When playing with some companions, it is possible that the monsters are approaching them enough and you can not use your ranged weapon (due to minimum radius of Use). For this reason, it is best not to stay too close to your teammates during combat. Thus, if the monster is attacking one of your friends, you can continue to attack it without problem. Note that your companions should not make for you because it would bring the monster below the minimum range of your weapon. Do not hesitate to remind your fellow travelers. Otherwise, know that you make an excellent puller and your pet can also be used to attract monsters to the group.
You come to group with one or more other Hunters. In this case, remember that a hunter can have only one activated by Sting monster (it’s a DoT). So get agreement between Hunters so that each uses a different Sting, this will defeat the enemy quickly. Arrange also to avoid being too close to each other, should not all hunters are blocked if the monster is too close to use ranged weapons. Try to be fairly dispersed so that each hunter can use his gun if the monster is attacking one of you.
When the monster escapes …
The Hunter is a character to be very useful when a monster begins to flee. It can use Shock Bolt (Concussive Shot) to slow him down and prevent him from warning other monsters to your presence. You can also use Wing Clip (Wing Clip).
Note that you can also use Arcane Shot (Arcane Shot) when you run, just like Mark Hunter (Hunter’s Mark) elsewhere. These spells can also be useful when an enemy monster or player tries to flee.
Some tips
The Hunter is a first class ranged attack. Although it has melee attacks, the damage is largely outweighed by ranged attacks.
The Hunter really needs agility (for ranged attacks and some for fighting melee), Endurance, Intelligence (for mana), and strength of mind (when he can have agility).
Engineers can make sights that can improve the efficiency of bows and guns (at the level of damage). Do not hesitate to look for an engineer that you build one of these little wonders!
Always use the best ammunition available. Engineers can make them, buy them a little from time to time rather than get them from merchants usual.
The bags of ammunition can improve the speed between shots, so try to focus on their use than conventional bags. Some quests can also give bags to get faster.
You can name your pet. The Hunter is also the only class who can do it. To rename a pet, you simply right-click on his picture and click on rename. Note that you can do this only once.
Occupations
You can choose what you want, but you might find these more tailored to the Hunter:
Skinning (Skinning) and Artisan Leather (Leatherworking): Allows you to create leather armor for himself or sell to other players.
Enchanting (Enchanting): Used to enchant their equipment to make it more powerful.
Fisherman (Fishing) and cook (Cooking): Used to feed the hunter and his pet.
Herbalist (Herbalism) and Alchemist (Alchemy): Allows you to create potions or buffs care.
